Simi Valley-Long Canyon to Woodridge Trail

Trail Stats: 5 miles, 900 ft elevation gain There is a lot of climbing. The footing is firm, uneven and rocky in places. The hills are moderate to steep. The entrance from the Long Canyon parking lot to the trail is a little tricky. Equestrians can do a reverse out and back to avoid the ditches. This loop begins at Long Canyon parking lot, crosses over the cement ditches and does a counterclockwise loop in the hills near houses. Trail Stats: 4.9 miles, 700 ft elevation gain Most of the trail is exposed to the sun with little shade. This scenic trail is good for families, novice mountain bikers, hikers, and equestrians.
